Marbella and BA in Promotional Agreement
British Airways has made a new promotional agreement with the seaside town of Marbella in the province of Malaga in order to attract more visitors from the UK to the town throughout the coming year.
A promotional video will be shown on over six thousand different flights through July 2013 and BA will also publish articles on Marbella in their in-flight magazine. According to recent figures from the tourist office of Marbella, the average British holidaymaker in Marbella spends well over €200 each day on leisure and relaxation.
These visitors are not the package holiday types. They will often book their own hotel accommodation over the internet on websites such as booking.com, more than one month in advance. Many will arrive from Malaga Airport to Marbella either by car hire or use an airport taxi transfer and the average age of visitors is from 30 – 40 years old.
